Adobe has announced a critical Security Bulletin for ColdFusion versions (9.0, 8.0.1, 8.0, and 7.0.2) yesterday. This update is for a vulnerability identified in BlazeDS 3.2 and its earlier versions.

I experienced some problems while installing ColdFusion 8 and configuring IIS7 on my Windows 7. Fortunately I got it solved immediately after referring to the solution at the web about configuring IIS 7 to work with ColdFusionby Dale Fraser, Paul Kukiel and Sameer Gupta. I am unsure why this problem is not addressed by Adobe, and I heard even with ColdFusion 9 the problem exist. Let’s hope Adobe will fix this issue with the upcoming ColdFusion 9 Update 1.

Tried and utilized some database administration tools for MySQL, but I felt like something was missing. Recently, started using Navicat for MySQL db management tool that provides what I required. It contains features that can be used to manage databases with a minimal amount of time.
ColdFusion Builder provides a new option to set default contents in the newly created cfm/cfc files. These features are helpful to capture some regular code blocks.
