As part of my learning in UX design I finished reading the “A Project Guide to UX Design”, written by Russ Unger and Carolyn Chandler and Published by Peachpit Press. This is one of the first books in UX design category that I read recently. Adobe announced that they were giving Free Flex builder license for developers currently unemployed to encourage them to learn Flex and for developers who are affected by the current economic conditions. Along with Flex builder license Safari Books Online is offering access there online Adobe Developer Library books for 60 days.

I have been using Eclipse for ColdFusion development both for the personal and at work with the CFEclipse plugin. I’m wondering what other developers in the ColdFusion community are using along with CFEclipse plugin for to perform our routine job easy and more productive. Last month while fixing an issue in a legacy code I found some of the queries haven’t had the cfqueryparam for variables in SQL statements. So I thought of fixing all these queries in that application and want to implement cfqueryparam for all parameters. But It will take more time to search all the cfquery that are not having cfqueryparam in SQL statements. However, the QueryParam Scanner by Peter Boughton has made it possible and easier for me.
